
What led you to become a part of the Tradesformers program?
ECU Health joined the Tradesformers program to help provide a path to help young people who are interested in the trades learn and grow in their field of interest.
When did you join the Tradesformers?
We began in 2024.
While in their apprenticeship, what will the student being doing at Advance Mechanical?
During their apprenticeship, the students will work alongside various ECU Health team members who are highly experienced in their fields. Work in a hospital is extremely varied. Our team members may be repairing HVAC units, troubleshooting controls, operating generators, building cabinets, repairing medical gas outlets, or performing a limitless number of other tasks.
After the apprenticeship is over, what job opportunities will the apprentice have?
After their apprenticeship, the student will have gained a wide variety of experience that will enable them to continue their education, apply for jobs with other employers, or stay with ECU Health and help us continue improving the health and well-being of eastern North Carolina.
