What led you to become part of the Tradesformers program?

We joined the Tradesformers program due to the shortage of help in the trade industry.

When did you join the Tradesformers program?

We have been a part of Tradesformers since 2022.

What do the apprenticeship students do while at Pitt County Schools?

Apprentices are paired with a mentor in one of the departments within facility services including, construction, electrical, HVAC and plumbing. They are able to assist within their department in maintaining the over thirty facilities within our school system.

What opportunities do the apprentices have after they complete the program?

Students are able to continue with PCS Facility Services in a variety of departments and work in multiple positions with their field of work.
