What led you to become part of the Tradesformers program?
Our industry is missing opportunities to promote the importance and benefits of working in the trade industry. We feel the Tradesformers program addresses this need and is a great introduction for the young professionals to gain an advantage in building successful careers in the construction industry. Tradesformers provides critical experiences and exposures needed to
develop a successful entry-level construction positions. Having a program that introduces both the young professionals and the industry leaders to one another is extremely critical for a sustainable workforce.
When did you join Tradesformers?
We joined in 2024.
What do the apprenticeship students do while at Precision Walls, Inc?
Individuals will begin as an entry level employees under the supervision of experienced leadership. They will gain practical training and hands on work experience. They will be safely educated and trained in an array of tasks reflecting all aspects of our company’s responsibilities, including, but not limited to the following:
Metal framing and drywall installations, acoustical ceiling installations, division 10 (Specialties) and Division 12 (window treatments).
In addition, we utilize virtual training opportunities easily accessible using common electronic devices.
While in their apprenticeship, what will the student be doing?
Once the apprenticeship is complete, the individual will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent position within our company. The opportunities are based on the individual’s work ethic, professionalism, and desire to learn.
